All memberships are up fro renewal at the end of each calendar year. Please be sure to complete the application and payment in one sitting. Upon membership expiration, there is a 60 day grace period to allow for renewal. After the 60 day grace period, your account will be locked and can only be unlocked by emailing [email protected]. If your membership is expired for 3+ years, it will be deemed null and void, and you will have to complete the application and payment in one sitting as a new member.
Member, P.E.: Must be a Registered PE in the state of Florida, practicing Structural Engineering. Annual Dues: $195
Associate: Not a Florida Registered PE - Must possess a degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering from an accredited school; or have a minimum of four (4) years experience in Structural or related engineering. Two levels are offered: Under 5 Years Experience - Annual Dues: $120 and 5+ years experience - Annual Dues: $195.
Affiliate: One who is in the opinion of the Board of Directors, to be qualified by reason of position to cooperate with Structural Engineers in the advancement of their professional knowledge, practice and welfare. Annual Dues: $225
Student: A full time Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in an accredited engineering or architecture school or college. Annual Dues: $10.
Retired: A person who has been a member in good standing of this Association for a minimum of five (5) years but who is no longer actively practicing as a Structural Engineer. Such an engineer may have had his/her license approved as "Retired" by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers or no longer holds a Professional Engineering license. His/her rights and privileges shall remain as before the change in status. Annual Dues: $50
Life or Honorary: Must be awarded by Board of Directors
